This year Heartfulness Institute Australia and United Nations Association of Australia (NSW and QLD divisions) have united to celebrate International Day of Yoga 2022 – Yoga4Unity. Yoga is a holistic approach to develop good health and well-being. The benefits of yoga echoes with United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 3- Good health and Well-being to ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages. The practices of yoga are not about physical exercise, it is a way of life to discover oneness within our self, the world and the nature.

The International Yoga Teachers Association (IYTA) is an international non-profit organisation founded in Australia in 1967 by Roma Blair. The IYTA’s primary activity is to ensure the highest level of yoga teacher training and ongoing support for yoga teachers in Australia and around the World. IYTA is managed by a dedicated group of members who are passionate about yoga and it’s professional and ethical yoga teacher training. IYTA is the longest running Not-For-Profit Yoga Association in Australia and with your membership you can contribute, share with others and be professionally supported as part of a large yoga community.
